Please post your picks in this fashion...
Rd #/ Pick #
<Team Name> selects <Player Name>
(NHL Team, Position)
Example...
Rd 1/ Pick 1
Boston Bruins select Wayne Gretzky
(Oilers, C)
PLEASE PM THE GM WHO IS MAKING THEIR PICK AFTER YOU. THIS IS A SNAKE DRAFT, SO WHEN ROUND 1 ENDS, BUFFALO SABRES WILL START ROUND 2 AND WE WILL GO IN THE REVERSE ORDER (HOPEFULLY YOU ALL KNOW WHAT A SNAKE DRAFT IS, AS I WILL NOT BE EXPLAINING THIS)
1 - Bruins 2 - North Stars 3 - Kings 4 - Blackhawks 5 - Whalers 6 - Oilers 7 - Maple Leafs 8 - Wild 9 - Lightning 10 - Flyers 11 - Penguins 12 - Canadiens 13 - Red Wings 14 - Canucks 15 - Blues 16 - Jets 17 - Nordiques 18 - Avalanche 19 - Flames 20 - Sabres

After each round, I will add players to a list on a thread on these boards.
Just go to that thread, and press ctrl+f (the find option), and type the players name. If you don' find him, then he is available. *Keep in mind though, I will be updating this post AFTER every round. So make sure to check the current round as well to see if that player has been taken or not.
You will be responsible for this. If you draft a player that was already taken, I will make it known to you ASAP that you did this, and you will be required to make another pick. The draft won't stop for you however, so you must make the pick ASAP. (Until the draft officially starts next Sunday, we will stop the draft for you, but once Sunday comes, it won't stop)

Wow...to be honest I really badly didn't want the first pick. I didn't even want in the top five really but I'll go with it.

Where are we actually putting our picks? is it in the league office topic or in this topic. I got confused but i figured the league office one is for us to put our picks and you're going to use this one to rewrite all the picks to keep them organized??

One pick still... I don't see this league lasting if people take this long.

Someone should just give this guy Malkin by default. I already know my pick. Let's get these picks moving already!

So. We should still be able to do a few rounds. I also think the salary cap should be raised by like 10 million. As it is now 70,00,000 / 23= like 3.something a player.

Agreed. 70,200,000/23 is just barely 3 million per player. If we raise the cap to 85,000,000 the average cap per player is roughly 3.7. Still low but manageable.

Well ....i wanted rules set in stone before I drafted. I am not one to be slow drafting fellows but i do try to use rules to my advantage. Whatever
