A new rule for our rosters that I think everyone will approve of. As you all know, our Farm team consists of 20 spots, with 3 of those spots that can be used for any non-rookies. Now, I am also allowing an additional 3 spots to be used for players 25 and under that are on 2-way contracts. The way that you can tell if a player is on a 2-way contract is if their AHL salary is different than their NHL salary. Ex. www.capgeek.com/players/display.php?id=1036Andrei Loktionov makes $65,000 in the AHL and $575,000 in the NHL. He could fill one of your 2-Way spots Clarification: There are still 20 spots for the Farm Team. 3 Additional spots were not added. You can use 3 spots for any non-rookie. However, you can't use the 3 new spots for 2-way contracts on non-rookies not on 2-way contracts. BUT, you can use the non-rookie spots on 2-way players as well, since they qualify for those slots as well. You can still have 20 rookies as well if you'd like.

so to clarify
you can use 3 slots for any player not on rookie status and on a one way contract (ie scott gomez)
you can use 3 slots for any player who has played more than 25 games, therefore not eligible for rookie status, but still on a 2 way deal if they are under 25
