Post in this thread if you are claiming a player (rookie or non-rookie) from another league to your team.
This applies to players that were playing in Europe and never signed with an NHL team in their career, then eventually signed later (Ex. Jonas Gustavsson) This also applies to players that went undrafted and then signed a contract with a pro team after the draft (Ex. Teddy Purcell, Martin St. Louis) This DOES NOT apply to players that were in the NHL, then signed in another league later, then came back to the NHL again (Ex. Jaromir Jagr)
Don't post in this thread, but make the announcement in a new thread. This makes it easier to follow the players being moved.
An example player will be shown to show you the correct format to do your post in.
WAIVER ORDER IS REVERSE ORDER OF THE STANDINGS (LAST PLACE TEAM GETS DIBS) DURING THE OFFSEASON, THE ORDER IS THE REVERSE ORDER OF THE STANDINGS FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON. IN THE FIRST YEAR OF THE LEAGUE, THE ORDER IS THE REVERSE ORDER OF THE DISPERSAL DRAFT (SABRES 1ST, BRUINES 20TH)
IF A NEW TEAM CLAIMS THE PLAYER, HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTRACT IN FULL. THE ORIGINAL TEAM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE CONTRACT.
A PLAYER IS ON WAIVERS FOR 24 HOURS. IF HE IS NOT CLAIMED WITHIN 24 HOURS, HE IS ASSIGNED TO THE PRO TEAM.[/u]
