Entry draft is being done after the dispersal and not during, right?
Also, think you can add a chat box at the bottom of the main page? makes it easier to communicate with everyone instead of doing a number of PMs

Entry Draft may be done at the same time, but I would like to get the Dispersal Draft moving along before I decide.

k. are we going by player salaries or player cap on Capgeek?
ie. Shawn Horcoff has a cap hit of 5.5, but a salary of 6 Jordan Eberle has a cap hit of 1.158, but a salary of 787,000

i guess it would make sense to do the cap hit, as those players with outrageous salaries being paid (ie 12m this year, 11m next year) will have a more affordable hit, and we wont have to deal with salary changes to drastic - but what about those players who are on entry level contracts who make a boat load in bonuses?
just trying to get the rules straight before my pick - did we decide on a time method of draft?

i thought you said before that players with rookie status can still be drafted in dispersal draft. shouldnt that be seperated, or at least have the entry draft after the dispersal?
what contract value and year will the entry draft players be given?

All of these questions you guys have are answered in the rules I emailed all of you.
Dispersal draft is 38 rounds where you're drafting to fill out BOTH Pro and Farm teams in the same draft.
Entry draft is 5 rounds where you can only draft players who were in the 2012 Entry Draft. No 2012 draftees can be selected in the dispersal draft.
As Boston said, the cap hit will be used. Whatever it says in cap geek for their average yearly salary is their cap hit.
Also the cap hit only applies to your 23 man pro roster.
Also there is no time limit right now to make your draft pick. So for example. North stars are on the clock right now. They could pick in 5 minutes or wait until Sunday. Sunday is when the draft officially starts but Im allowing you guys to make picks early. Once Sunday hits I will implement a time limit. It will probably be long intervals at first(8 to 12 hours) and as we go along the intervals will get smaller.
